International Activities
Centers, Programs & Institutes
Yale faculty and students have opportunities to engage in all aspects of international affairs, societies, and cultures around the world.
Financial Aid for International Students
Yale’s need-blind admissions policy and need-based financial aid ensure that all undergraduate students receive the support they need to take full advantage of the university’s many opportunities. Donors may endow Yale College scholarships with a preference for international students, or establish fellowship funds in support of international students in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences or in any of Yale’s thirteen professional schools.
Donors may also support programs and initiatives addressing the logistical and financial challenges often encountered specifically by international students:
- The International Undergraduates Resource Fund for the Dean of Yale College enables the dean of Yale College to direct resources as needed to support international students.
- The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) is responsible for the general welfare of Yale’s international students. Gifts to support OISS help ensure the university can facilitate international students’ immigration processes, adjustment to campus life, and related matters.
