Assistant Director, Yale College Alumni Fund
The Yale Alumni Fund is seeking an Assistant Director to elevate fundraising and volunteer management efforts. In the fall of 2021, the university entered the public phase of For Humanity, the Yale Campaign, a university-wide fundraising initiative that aims to address the most critical challenges facing our world. As Assistant Director, you will work as a frontline fundraiser in the Yale College annual giving team and partner with a substantial group of dedicated volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni to drive engagement and expand broad-based donor support in strategic ways to provide a sustainable source of revenue in support of Yale’s mission. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in project management while overseeing multiple priorities and be familiar with relational databases.
Assistant Vice President, Schools and Units
The assistant vice president (the AVP), schools and units, manages and provides strategic guidance and oversight to a number of school and unit-based fundraising teams including Yale College, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Engineering, as well as the University Libraries and Collections.
Associate Director of Development, Law School
The associate director of development is a member of the school’s Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) team, reporting to the director of development. This individual is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement of leadership annual fund gifts from alumni, parents, and friends of the Yale Law School.
Development Director, Schwarzman Center
Yale University seeks a talented and experienced fundraiser to join Alumni Affairs and Development in support of the new Yale Schwarzman Center (YSC). Reporting to both the senior associate dean for development in Yale College and the executive director of YSC, the YSC development director engages and solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts in the $10,000 to $250,000 range (including naming opportunities) and plays a central role collaborating with YSC staff and development officers across the university.
Development Program Coordinator, Major Gifts
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator provides advanced support to frontline fundraisers in the Major Gifts unit within the Office of Development, conducting writing, research, data analysis, project coordination, and assisting with special events.
Director of Alumni Engagement
The director will provide leadership and oversight for the Alumni Engagement (AE) team within the Office of Alumni Engagement and Development (AED), planning and executing the strategy and vision related to the engagement of Yale Law School’s (YLS) graduates. The director will formulate and implement comprehensive and innovative programs that offer value to YLS’s nearly 13,000 alumni who are geographically diverse and have a wide array of personal and professional interests.

The Prospect Development team in the division of Alumni Affairs & Development is comprised of individuals with remarkable skills and competencies ranging from specialized industry, language, and primary source knowledge to statistical and data manipulation capabilities.
Major Gifts Officer
Yale University seeks an experienced and successful major gift officer to join the university’s Alumni Affairs and Development division. As a member of the university’s Major Gifts team, the major gift officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $250,000 to $10 million+ and plays a central role collaborating with University leadership, faculty, development senior leadership, campaign volunteers, and colleagues throughout Alumni Affairs and Development.
Planned Giving and Special Assets Specialist
Reporting to the director of special assets and strategic initiatives, the planned giving and special assets specialist works in the small, collegial teams of the Office of Planned Giving and Office of Gift Investment and Administration. This individual is an important member of this unit and contributes to the team's overall success.

Program Coordinator, Planned Giving
Reporting to the University Director of Planned Giving and working with considerable independence and discretion in establishing priorities, the Planned Giving Program Coordinator provides administrative, database and fundraising support to the planned giving team to achieve the unit’s common goals and priorities. In collaboration with frontline fundraisers and other colleagues, the program coordinator supports the identification, solicitation and cultivation of alumni and friends capable of making planned gifts to the university.
Program Manager, Corporate and Foundation Giving
Reporting to the Associate Director of Development Initiatives, Corporate and Foundation Giving (CFG), and as a member of the unit’s business and editorial support team (BEST), the Program Manager directs a team of program coordinators to ensure a high level of support for the University Director for Corporate and Foundation Giving and other members of the CFG team in their work to raise and steward gifts for Yale’s highest priorities.

Senior Administrative Assistant, Principal Gifts
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of high-level administrative support for the Principal Gifts team. As a key member of the team, the Senior Administrative Assistant communicates effectively in a highly collaborative work environment and develops a holistic understanding of the process of Principal Gifts work so that they may properly support and document it.
Senior Director of Development, Foundations & Corporations
Reporting to the associate vice president for Development and Alumni Affairs, Yale School of Medicine (YSM), the senior director for development will lead a team consisting of four development professionals. S/he will be responsible for all fundraising from private foundations as well as corporations for YSM and its departments, and all associated institutes, centers, and units.
Trusts & Estates Specialist
The Trusts & Estates Specialist assists with the receipt and processing of gifts and bequests made to the University through estates and external trusts.
