Director of Development, Alumni Affairs and Giving
Reporting directly to the associate vice president (AVP) for development and alumni affairs at the Yale School of Medicine, the director of development, alumni affairs and giving is an experienced, energetic, and forward-thinking leader who will be the school’s principal strategist for fundraising from alumni. The director will focus primarily on building relationships with our alumni with a goal of cultivating them as prospective donors.
Director, Parent Gifts
The director, parent gifts has responsibility for leading the university’s thriving parent giving program to unprecedented levels of success in the context of the $7 billion For Humanity campaign and beyond. Reporting to the associate vice president, the director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction and growth of the parent gifts program, which seeks to increase and enhance engagement with and raise funds from high-capacity non-alumni parents whose children are current or former Yale College students.
Assistant Director, Special Stewardship
Reporting to the associate director, special stewardship, and working closely with the principal gifts team, school/unit development directors and stewardship staff, and colleagues in marketing & communications, the assistant director, special stewardship, will support a donor relations program that provides individualized, high-level stewardship for a selected group of multidisciplinary university donors related to their giving to Yale.
Program Coordinator, Corporate & Foundation Relations
Under the direction of the director for strategic initiatives and proposal development, the program coordinator will provide support for a broad range of Corporate and Foundation Relations fundraising activities in the Office of Development (ODV).
The events coordinator provides support for Yale’s fundraising efforts by assisting in the planning and execution of successful top-quality events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) that enhance the relationship between Yale University and its prominent alumni, parents, and friends.
Deputy Director, Yale Alumni Fund
Yale University seeks an experienced and successful manager to join the university’s division of Alumni Affairs and Development. As a senior member of the Yale Alumni Fund (YAF) team and reporting to the managing director, the deputy director directs a team of individuals responsible for marketing, broad engagement, and mass solicitation as well as the integrated direct marketing strategy that supports all Yale Alumni Fund efforts and plays a central role in helping to achieve annual fundraising goals, engagement goals, and prospect pipeline goals.
Program Manager, Reunion Giving, Development
Yale University seeks an experienced professional to join the university’s Alumni Affairs and Development division. Reporting to the director of reunion giving, the program manager directly supervises the team’s administrative support staff who perform a range of duties including but not limited to drafting solicitation/cultivation strategies for reunion gift committee members; preparing and producing various communications including direct mail, emails, volunteer training materials, and event invitations; coordinating small donor events; performing data entry; and developing and pulling reports from the central donor database.

The Prospect Development team in the division of Alumni Affairs & Development is comprised of individuals with remarkable skills and competencies ranging from specialized industry, language, and primary source knowledge to statistical and data manipulation capabilities.
Assistant Director, Yale College Annual Giving
The Yale Alumni Fund (YAF) is seeking an assistant director to elevate fundraising and volunteer management efforts. In the fall of 2021, the university entered the public phase of For Humanity, the Yale Campaign, a university-wide fundraising initiative that aims to address the most critical challenges facing our world.
Major Gifts Officer
Yale University seeks an experienced and successful major gift officer to join the university’s Alumni Affairs and Development division. As a member of the university’s Major Gifts team, the major gift officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $250,000 to $10 million+ and plays a central role collaborating with University leadership, faculty, development senior leadership, campaign volunteers, and colleagues throughout Alumni Affairs and Development.
Deputy Director, Stewardship
Reporting to the director of stewardship/recording secretary and working closely with colleagues in the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, the Yale College Dean’s Office, the Office of Development, and other university officials, the deputy director helps manage Yale’s comprehensive and strategic stewardship program for reporting on the university’s endowed funds.
Program Coordinator, Schools and Units Development
Reporting to the senior associate director, planning and analysis, development for schools and units, the program coordinator provides a wide range of high-level administrative support including data management and reporting, project support, writing, team-wide guidelines and planning, prospect management, scheduling and travel support, a range of administrative tasks, and related responsibilities.
Program Coordinator, Corporate and Foundation Relations
Reporting to the assistant director of development initiatives and working in a team-focused environment, the program coordinator for corporate and foundation relations provides a full range of support for the Corporate & Foundation Relations, Science & Engineering (CFSE) team in the Office of Development.
Associate Director of Development, Law School
The associate director of development is a member of the school’s Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) team, reporting to the director of development. This individual is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement of leadership annual fund gifts from alumni, parents, and friends of the Yale Law School.
Director of Alumni Engagement
Reporting to the dean of the Yale School of Medicine, the director of alumni engagement is a newly created, part-time basis position responsible for direct engagement of and outreach to alumni and future alumni (students and affiliated house staff). The successful candidate will be a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine. The director will develop and implement programs that will make it possible for alumni to remain connected to each other as well as to Yale School of Medicine; further develop their medical careers; and contribute to enhancing the reputation of their alma mater.
Associate Director, YCC Development
The associate director of development, Yale Cancer Center, will work closely with the senior director of development, Yale Cancer Center to assist in the management of all aspects of engagement and fundraising activities for several departments at the Yale School of Medicine.
