Assistant/Associate Director, Leadership Giving
Yale University seeks a driven and successful fundraiser to join the division of Alumni Affairs and Development. As a member of the Office of Development Leadership Giving team, the Leadership Giving Officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $50,000 to $500,000 and plays a central role in collaborating with colleagues in Major Gifts, the Alumni Fund, Reunion Giving, and Planned Giving to ensure prospects are solicited comprehensively. The Leadership Giving Officer carries their own portfolio of individual prospects within specific geographic regions and also functions in a discovery role.
Assistant Director of Development, Yale College
Reporting to the Director of Development for Yale College, the Assistant Director of Development, Yale College serves as a key member of the Yale College development team. The team partners with university leadership, faculty, and staff to organize and advance fundraising efforts that support and strengthen the undergraduate experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in fundraising activities, overseeing multiple priorities and resources, be a skilled writer/editor, be familiar with relational databases, and excel in working collaboratively across teams.
Associate Analyst, Business Intelligence
Reporting to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence, support the business intelligence efforts of Alumni Affairs and Development, using data visualization tools to develop reporting and analysis of fundraising results and alumni activities. Understand and utilize relevant Alumni Affairs and Development systems, and applicable internal reporting structures and guidelines, and serve as a subject matter expert for these functions.
Associate Director, Complex Gift Management Development
Reporting to the Senior Director of Complex Gifts Management (CGM), the Associate Director works among the small, collegial team of CGM, in close partnership with CGM’s sister office the Office of Planned Giving (PG). This individual is an important member of this unit and contributes to the teams’ overall success. Collaborating closely with CGM and PG members, the Associate Director of CGM works to ensure successful administration of the University’s portfolio of charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, pooled income funds (“Life Income Gifts”), and non-cash gifts (“Special Assets”).
Deputy Director, Yale Alumni Fund
As a senior leader within the Alumni Fund team, the Deputy Director offers strategic leadership and guidance to a dedicated team charged with advancing fundraising and engagement efforts throughout Yale’s annual fund programs. This position is not only a frontline fundraiser but also oversees both staff and volunteers, ensuring that projects and priorities are managed effectively to increase donor participation and provide essential support for the university’s core needs.
Office Manager, YSM Development and Alumni Affairs
With latitude for independent judgement, serve as Office Manager for the YSM Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. Oversee and manage a range of services associated with office operations and financial activity in the School of Medicine Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. Provide financial, administrative, and operational management support for the department. Manage the daily operation of the department and serve as the department’s liaison with ITS, Procurement, Treasury Services, and Facilities. Manage the office infrastructure including equipment, space, supplies, telephone and office needs.
Prospect Management Analyst, YSM
The Prospect Management Analyst is a key member of the School of Medicine Office of Development and Alumni Affairs, providing critical support for fundraising initiatives and the university’s For Humanity capital campaign. Prospect Management provides governance and best practice recommendations for portfolio management and moves management processes across the school’s fundraising teams.
Senior Director, Strategic Advancement Communications, YLS
The Senior Director of Strategic Advancement Communications is a member of Yale Law School’s Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) team and oversees all communications in support of alumni engagement, volunteer engagement, donor engagement, recognition, and fundraising. The Senior Director will plan and execute communication strategies and produce messaging and materials that accelerate engagement and giving using print, digital, and social platforms.
