Development Officer, Leadership Giving

Yale University seeks a driven and successful fundraiser to join the division of Alumni Affairs and Development. As a member of the Office of Development Leadership Giving team, the Leadership Giving Officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $10,000 to $250,000 and plays a central role collaborating with colleagues in Major Gifts, the Alumni Fund, Reunion Giving, and Planned Giving to ensure prospects are solicited comprehensively. The Leadership Giving Officer carries their own portfolio of approximately 250 individual prospects within specific geographic regions and functions in a discovery role. In addition to annual fundraising goals, this position will identify new major- and principal-gift prospects through superior qualification work.

Events Manager, YSM Development

Plans and executes successful top-quality donor and prospect cultivation and recognition events that enhance the relationship between Yale School of Medicine and its prominent alumni, donors, and friends around the world. Event management duties include, but are not limited to, managing, researching, negotiating, securing, creating and/or selecting all event logistics including site selection, vendor management, and event specifications (audio/visual, décor, lodging, print materials, etc.); supervising all aspects of guest management including creative decisions for, and printing and mailing of invitations, compilation of guest list; developing event itineraries and agendas; acting as primary liaison with faculty, dean, alumni and other speakers; supervising all on-site event staff, including other staff and student employees; overseeing and managing work of program coordinator assigned as event support; compiling individual event budgets; and a variety of other tasks.

Yale University seeks an experienced and successful fundraiser to join the Planned Giving team within the distinguished university division of Alumni Affairs and Development. As a member of the Planned Giving team, the officer is responsible primarily for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of a robust portfolio of 100+ planned giving prospects of alumni and friends university- wide.
