Assistant Director, Donor Relations, YSM

The Associate Director of Development, Clinical Departments and Healthcare Delivery will work closely with the Director of Development, Clinical Departments and Healthcare Delivery to assist in the management of all aspects of engagement and fundraising activities for several clinical departments at the Yale School of Medicine. Associate Director of Development, YSM

The Yale School of Medicine seeks and experienced and successful fundraising professional to join the School’s Alumni Affairs and Development team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development for Brain, Behavior, and Children’s Health, the Associate Director of Development will work closely with the Brain, Behavior, and Children’s Health team on all aspects of engagement and fundraising activities for several departments at the Yale School of Medicine. Financial Assistant 4, Gift and Records Services

Reporting to the Director, the Financial Assistant 4 is responsible for vital processes for credit card and assets and liabilities account reconciliation, electronic data processing of constituent biographical and financial data, support and back up coverage for grant processing, adjustments, acknowledgements, or designation set-up as needed. The Financial Assistant 4 works closely with Gift Administration, Information Technology Services (ITS), and other staff in Information Management and Donor Services to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Principal Gift Officer

Yale University seeks an experienced principal gift officer to join the university’s Alumni Affairs & Development division. Reporting to the university director, principal gifts and collaborating with partners across Yale, the principal gift officer is responsible for building relationships with and securing gifts from the university’s highest-level prospects, capable of making gifts of $10 million or more. The principal gift officer is a senior fundraiser in the Office of Development, expected to work in close coordination with the vice president for alumni affairs & development, president, provost, deans, and other academic and administrative partners to maximize donor support for priorities across the university.

Program Coordinator, Cancer Fundraising, YSM

Working with considerable independence and exercising discretion in establishing priorities, the Program Coordinator provides high-level data management, research/writing, and administrative support to the Cancer Fundraising team. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Cancer Fundraising, the Program Coordinator is responsible for a range of activities including briefings, donor engagement, cultivation, and stewardship, complex calendar management, and coordination of mail, email outreach, and engagement activities to ensure their timely and successful execution.

Program Coordinator, Marketing, Data & Reporting

Under the supervision of the Alumni Fund Deputy Director, the coordinator plays a key role in the solicitation, engagement, and stewardship efforts of the Yale Alumni Fund. Working both independently and in partnership with other team members, this staff member is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to develop and present marketing strategies for outreach to alumni through various communications channels. The coordinator also supports new initiatives and innovations and is an active contributor to the success of the Alumni Fund and the For Humanity campaign.

The Program Coordinator (PC) for the Parent Gifts team within the Office of Development is tasked with providing essential fundraising support, analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Reporting to the Program Manager and working closely with the Director of Parent Gifts, the PC develops capital gift proposals for major gifts, drafts various written materials, and conducts detailed research for the Parent Gifts team.

Program Coordinator 1, Reunion Giving

Working with considerable independence and exercising discretion in establishing priorities, the Development Program Coordinator provides data management, research, administrative, and communications support for the Director of Yale College Reunion Giving and other members of the Reunion Giving team. Reporting to the Reunion Giving Program Manager, the Development Coordinator is responsible for a range of activities that include: assisting with the development of solicitation/cultivation strategies for Reunion Gift Committee members; overseeing the preparation and production of communications including mail solicitations, emails, volunteer training materials, and event invitations; and event invitations, and coordinating special events to ensure their timely and successful execution.

Program Coordinator 2, Reunion Giving

Reporting to the Reunion Giving Program Manager and working with considerable independence and exercising discretion in establishing priorities, the Development Program Coordinator provides high-level data management and research support for the Reunion Giving team.  In particular, the Development Coordinator identifies necessary changes and updates to support the team’s evolving reporting needs, collaborating closely with the Director of Reunion Giving, the Program Manager, and other colleagues to refine reports and implement any required modifications to improve operational effectiveness.

Research Analyst, Due Diligence, Prospect Development

The Research Analyst, Due Diligence is a key member of the Prospect Development team in the Yale’s Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) division, providing due diligence research to fundraisers and other relevant university staff with the goal of mitigating risk in a philanthropic context and protecting the institution from potential harm. The Research Analyst, Due Diligence analyzes the background and motivation of prospective donors or volunteers, using a variety of print and online sources (e.g. financial databases, court filings, and general news media) to assess reputational risk and potential adverse impact on the university.
