Assistant/Associate, Yale College Alumni Fund, Annual Giving
The Yale Alumni Fund is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director to elevate fundraising and volunteer management efforts. The Yale Alumni Fund raises unrestricted funds to support the university's core needs, from financial aid and enriching student life, to teaching and research. In the fall of 2021, the university entered the public phase of For Humanity, the Yale Campaign, a university-wide fundraising initiative that aims to address the most critical challenges facing our world.
Associate Analyst, Analytics and Data Services
Reporting to the Director, Analytics and Data Services, and with a high degree of independence, support Alumni Affairs and Development through complex reporting and analysis of fundraising results and alumni activities, utilizing database systems and other analytical tools.
Associate Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations
Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and working in close coordination with the University Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations as well as Yale leadership and faculty, the Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations is charged with helping to position Yale as a leading institution for funding of its institutional priorities and academic initiatives. Wide ranging responsibilities include working with the Director to manage corporate and foundation fundraising across Yale schools and units. In addition, the Associate Director works to collaborate with lead development officers for the schools and units on grant-seeking from foundations and corporations. The Associate Director helps secure foundation and corporate support in the form of research and programmatic grants and other philanthropic giving.
Associate Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations-Med & Inst
Reporting to the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) Senior Assistant Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations and working in close collaboration with the Associate Vice President for Development/University Director for Corporate & Foundation Relations, as well as university leadership, faculty and other colleagues, the YSM Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations is a key member of the team charged with helping to secure foundation and corporate support in the form of research and programmatic gifts and grants for the priorities of YSM and its associated institutes, centers, and units.
Associate Director, High Net Worth, Prospect Development
The Associate Director, High Net Worth serves as a subject matter expert in high net worth research and a senior strategist and campus liaison in the development of prospect identification and research strategies for high net worth prospects and VIP donors in conjunction with campus-wide fund-raising initiatives.
Associate Director of Development, Clinical Departments and Healthcare Delivery, YSM
The Associate Director of Development, Clinical Departments and Healthcare Delivery will work closely with the Director of Development, Clinical Departments and Healthcare Delivery to assist in the management of all aspects of engagement and fundraising activities for several clinical departments at the Yale School of Medicine.
Development Coordinator 2, Principal Gifts
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator (PC) provides advanced support and analysis for the University Director of Principal Gifts and the team of Principal Gifts officers in all aspects of their work. Principal Gifts is responsible for substantial and transformative donations made to the university. As a key part of this important work, the PC position provides a fascinating window into the inner workings of major initiatives and upper levels of administration at Yale.
Director of Data Services & Analytics, Law School
The Director of Data Services & Analytics is a member of the Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) team, responsible for overseeing and providing in-depth data analytics, ad hoc revenue and constituent reporting, data downloads, complex query selections, and interactive revenue and constituent data visualizations, and providing the business expertise for reporting methods, revenue data, and coding structures in Yale University’s Blackbaud content management system of record (Hopper). The Director serves as a key resource for data integrity and data integration projects and assists in the development of processes for and maintenance of constituent data in Hopper.
Events Coordinator, Events Planning
The Events Coordinator provides support for Yale’s fundraising efforts by assisting in the planning and execution of successful top-quality events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) that enhance the relationship between Yale University and its prominent alumni, parents, and friends. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Associate Director, Events, and supports a team of three event planners, the Associate Director, Events, the Senior Associate Director, Events, and the Director, Events, within the Office of Development’s Marketing & Communications unit.
High Net Worth Research Analyst, Prospect Development
Reporting to the Associate Director, High Net Worth, the High Net Worth (HNW) Research Analyst is a key member of the Prospect Development team in the Yale Office of Development. The HNW Research Analyst plays a critical role in supporting fundraising efforts by conducting in-depth research on high-net-worth prospects.
Leadership Giving Officer
Yale University seeks a driven and successful fundraiser to join the division of Alumni Affairs and Development. As a member of the Office of Development Leadership Giving team, the Leadership Giving Officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $10,000 to $250,000 and plays a central role in collaborating with colleagues in Major Gifts, the Alumni Fund, Reunion Giving, and Planned Giving to ensure prospects are solicited comprehensively.
Major Gift Officer
Yale University seeks an experienced and successful Major Gift Officer to join the University’s Alumni Affairs & Development division. As a member of the University’s Major Gifts Team, the Major Gift Officer solicits prospective donors to Yale University for gifts of $250,000 to $10 million+ and plays a central role collaborating with university leadership, faculty, development senior leadership, campaign volunteers, and colleagues throughout Alumni Affairs & Development.
Principal Gift Officer
Yale University seeks an experienced principal gift officer to join the university’s Alumni Affairs & Development division. Reporting to the university director, principal gifts and collaborating with partners across Yale, the principal gift officer is responsible for building relationships with and securing gifts from the university’s highest-level prospects, capable of making gifts of $10 million or more. The principal gift officer is a senior fundraiser in the Office of Development, expected to work in close coordination with the vice president for alumni affairs & development, president, provost, deans, and other academic and administrative partners to maximize donor support for priorities across the university.
Program Coordinator, Planned Giving
Reporting to the Planned Giving Program Manager and working with considerable independence and discretion in establishing priorities, the Planned Giving Program Coordinator provides administrative, database and fundraising support to the planned giving team to achieve the unit’s common goals and priorities. In collaboration with frontline fundraisers and other colleagues, the program coordinator supports the identification, solicitation and cultivation of alumni and friends capable of making planned gifts to the university.
Proposal Development Manager, Corporate & Foundation Relations
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Proposal Development, the Proposal Development Manager partners directly with faculty principal investigators on development of grant proposals, provides advanced proposal conceptual development, technical writing and editing support, collaborates with other offices within the University to support proposals through to completion and submission, and works with colleagues in Corporate and Foundation Relations on other strategic writing projects, as assigned.
Reunion Giving Officer
Yale University is seeking a dynamic and strategic Reunion Giving Officer to join the university’s Alumni Affairs and Development division. Reporting to the Director of Reunion Giving, the Reunion Giving Officer solicits gifts from Yale College alumni during their quinquennial reunions and manages alumni volunteers for several assigned reunion classes. Operating in a comprehensive, university-wide campaign environment, the Reunion Giving Officer achieves annual fundraising goals tied to specific reunion classes and ensures the overall success of their assigned classes in a multitude of impactful ways.
