Events Coordinator

The events coordinator provides support for Yale’s fundraising efforts by assisting in the planning and execution of successful top-quality events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) that enhance the relationship between Yale University and its prominent alumni, parents, and friends. The events coordinator reports directly to the deputy director, events, and supports a team of three event planners, the deputy director, events, and the director, events, within the Office of Development’s Marketing & Communications unit.

Director of Alumni Engagement

Reporting to the dean of the Yale School of Medicine, the director of alumni engagement is a newly created, part-time basis position responsible for direct engagement of and outreach to alumni and future alumni (students and affiliated house staff). The successful candidate will be a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine. The director will develop and implement programs that will make it possible for alumni to remain connected to each other as well as to Yale School of Medicine; further develop their medical careers; and contribute to enhancing the reputation of their alma mater.

Director of Donor Relations

The director of donor relations is a member of the Alumni Engagement and Development team, responsible for overseeing the recognition of donors, ensuring that donors are aware of the impact of their private support, aiding in fostering long-term relationships between donors and the school, and assisting in nurturing a culture of philanthropy within the school and among its graduates. Development Officer, Parent Gifts

As a member of the Parent Gifts team, the development officer will raise meaningful philanthropic gifts from non-alumni parents in support of Yale’s highest priorities as part of the ambitious For Humanity campaign launched in 2021. With a portfolio of donors and prospects capable of leadership level annual fund and major gifts, the development officer will report to the director of parent gifts and participate in implementing a dynamic program to engage generous families.

Reporting to the director of development for science strategy in the Office of Development, the program coordinator (PC) provides critical fundraising support to the director and assistant director and works on projects related to donors and initiatives across the university, with a focus on science fundraising. With a high degree of independence, the associate analyst, prospect management and data services supports YSM Alumni Affairs and Development (YSM ODV/AA) through in-depth data analytics, ad-hoc revenue and constituent reporting, data downloads, complex query selections and interactive revenue and constituent data visualizations and written communication for senior staff, including senior leadership, as well as providing the business expertise for reporting methods, revenue data, and coding structures in Yale University’s Blackbaud contact management system of record (Hopper).

Assistant Director, Yale College Annual Giving

The Yale Alumni Fund is seeking an assistant director to elevate fundraising and volunteer management efforts. In the fall of 2021, the university entered the public phase of For Humanity, the Yale Campaign, a university-wide fundraising initiative that aims to address the most critical challenges facing our world.
