Assistant Director of Development Initiatives, YSM
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Development and Alumni Affairs, Yale School of Medicine, and exercising a high level of independence, the Assistant Director is responsible for a wide range of fundraising support initiatives and activities. Specific responsibilities include: plan, direct, manage, and execute a variety of complex projects; prepare (editing and writing) and manage complex proposals, presentations, or other deliverables including meeting materials; support prospect strategy including scheduling, preparing and distributing agendas and related materials, and maintaining records of meetings; manage YSM’s principal gift interactions as well as prospect tracking on behalf of the Associate Vice President and as necessary other staff; coordinate interactions with senior development, YSM and university leadership; oversee high-level stewardship in consultation and coordination with YSM stewardship staff; collaborate on events; and coordinate communications and other activities.
Assistant/Associate Director, Yale Alumni Fund
The Yale Alumni Fund seeks an Assistant/Associate Director to elevate fundraising and volunteer management efforts. Yale’s annual fund programs, which include Yale College, Yale Parents, and Graduate School and Professional Schools, raise unrestricted funds to support the university’s core needs, from financial aid and enriching student life, to teaching and research. As an Assistant/Associate Director, you will work as a frontline fundraiser in the Yale annual giving team regularly connecting with prospective donors and volunteers through individual visits, phone, and email to solicit gifts to the university.
Associate Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations
Reporting to the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) Senior Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations and working in close collaboration with the Associate Vice President for Development/University Director for Corporate & Foundation Relations, as well as university leadership, faculty and other colleagues, the YSM Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations is a key member of the team charged with helping to secure foundation and corporate support in the form of research and programmatic gifts and grants for the priorities of YSM and its associated institutes, centers, and units.
Associate Director of Development, Cancer Fundraising, YSM
The Development Officer, Yale Cancer Center, will work closely with the Assistant Vice President, and will build and manage relationships with faculty, grateful patients, grateful patient families, alumni, non-alumni, and friends of the School and University with a goal to secure gifts in support of Yale Cancer Center/Smilow Cancer Hospital. A creative and energetic fundraiser, the Development Officer will bring a high level of sophistication and professional expertise to the team. The successful candidate will be a skilled relationship builder who will inspire trust and collaboration with faculty, and colleagues across the departments, the school, and Yale New Haven Health System
Associate Director of Development, Clinical & Healthcare, YSM
Reporting to the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) Senior Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations and working in close collaboration with the Associate Vice President for Development/University Director for Corporate & Foundation Relations, as well as university leadership, faculty and other colleagues, the YSM Associate Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations isa key member of the team charged with helping to secure foundation and corporate support in the form of research and programmatic gifts and grants for the priorities of YSM and its associated institutes, centers, and units.
Events Coordinator, Marketing & Communications
The Events Coordinator provides support for Yale’s fundraising efforts by assisting in the planning and execution of successful, top-quality events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) that enhance the relationship between Yale University and its prominent alumni, parents, and friends. The Events Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Associate Director, Events, and supports a team of three event planners, the Associate Director, Events, the Senior Associate Director, Events, and the Director, Events, within the Office of Development’s Marketing & Communications unit.
Information Processor 3, Gift and Records Services
As a member of the Gift and Records Services team, the Information Processor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Office of Development is processing revenue and providing related services to our constituents in a timely and accurate manner. This position creates and updates a variety of information on Yale University’s fundraising and constituent relationship management (CRM) database for alumni, donors and other constituents.
