On March 4, nearly 800 Yalies gathered in New York City to hear from Yale scholars and professors working toward solutions for a more sustainable planet. San Francisco: Human Health Paradigms

On October 22, more than 300 members of the Yale community in northern California gathered for a wide-ranging exploration of advances in inflammation science, the implications of the genetic revolution, innovations in biomedical engineering and drug discovery, and the use of technology to reimagine the collection and use of data in predicting health outcomes. The program, From Ideas to Impact: Developing Leaders to Serve Society, was part of the For Humanity Illuminated series of regional events.

What is Yale for?

Yale launched its historic For Humanity campaign on October 2, 2021, with a live broadcast from the Schwarzman Center. Moses Ingram ’19 CDR welcomed everyone to the virtual event and introduced alumni and friends who answered the pivotal question “What are you for?” from locations across the globe. Yale President Peter Salovey ’86 PhD introduced the themes and purpose of the campaign, and a series of Yale community members engaged in conversations highlighting exciting work happening at Yale.
