Yahlin Chang ’94

Yahlin Chang is an executive producer and writer for The Handmaid’s Tale. Chang won the HUMANITAS Prize for Drama Teleplay in 2020, was nominated for an individual Emmy for Outstanding Writing in 2021, and has been nominated for multiple Drama Series Emmys, Writers’ Guild awards, and Producers’ Guild awards. Her credits include ER, Supergirl, Dirty Sexy Money, Shades of Blue, Pan Am, Pure Genius, Ed, and Deadline. Before writing for television, Chang spent six years as a writer, reporter, and cultural critic for Newsweek magazine. Chang lives in Los Angeles with her husband, three sons, and dog.
