Investing in Science and Engineering Core Facilities

Yale continues to invest in a bright future in the sciences. It has now contributed more than $4 million in core facilities to support science and engineering breakthroughs across campus.

Core facilities, which provide Yale’s research community with shared access to cutting-edge equipment and instrumentation, were cited in 2018 as a key priority for the university’s future in science and engineering. Yale has now made investments totaling more than $4 million in these research cores, which also include the hiring of Janie Merkel ’00 PhD and Ben Myers as their inaugural directors.
