In this video, three Yale College students share how they hope to make a difference in the world. Modupe Karimi SM ’26 plans to attend medical school and become a physician. But first, she is exploring the humanities side of medicine, so she can better understand and prevent disparities in healthcare. Sabrina Guo ES ’27 is a political science major and aspiring human rights lawyer. She aims to learn all she can about how law and government work in order to uplift marginalized communities. Serhii Malevych BK ’28 is a first-year following his curiosity as he explores a variety of subjects at Yale, including chemistry, his passion. One day, he plans to help advance science in his home country of Ukraine.

Financial aid opens doors to opportunities for students. The For Humanity campaign is raising $1.2 billion for scholarships and fellowships in Yale College, the Graduate School, and the professional schools, ensuring access and opportunity for today’s students and future generations.
