Yale Legacy Partners
Yale Legacy Partners are alumni, family, and friends who have made a bequest or planned gift to the university. Through their generosity, Yale Legacy Partners have endowed scholarships and fellowships for students, established named chairs for faculty members, expanded the resources of Yale’s great museums and libraries, helped to sustain innovative programs, and transformed the campus with new and updated facilities.
Becoming a Yale Legacy Partner
You are eligible for membership in Yale Legacy Partners if you have named Yale as a beneficiary of your:

- Life income or other planned gift (charitable gift annuity, pooled income fund, charitable remainder trust, charitable lead trust, or remainder interest in a personal residence)
You may choose a particular area of interest to support or allow your gift to fund key priorities determined by the university’s leadership.
