Cam Ragen is a managing director and financial advisor for The Ragen Group. Joining Baird in 2014, he has honed his conservative value-oriented investment approach on behalf of his clients for over 30 years.
 
Ragen started his investment career as a teenager, talking stocks around the kitchen table with his father, Brooks Ragen ’55, P ’83, P ’89 MD, P ’90. He graduated from Yale University in 1990 and joined Knowlton Brothers Inc., a New York City money management firm, as a technology and healthcare analyst. While earning an MBA at the Haas School of Business, University of California-Berkeley, Ragen worked for Franklin Resources, a mutual fund company in San Mateo. He rejoined Brooks in 1994 as part of Ragen MacKenzie Inc. and helped to found McAdams Wright Ragen Inc. in 1998.
 
Ragen served on the board of Seattle Works and as board president in 1997. He joined the board of the Woodland Park Zoo in 2002. Over the course of his nine years on the board, his roles included treasurer, vice chairman, and chairman of the board. He has served on the boards of the McGilvra Soccer Club, Lakeside School Alumni board, Seattle Tennis Club, and Seattle United soccer club. He currently serves as development co-chair of the Yale Tennis Association and as board member of the YMCA of Greater Seattle where he serves on the finance, investment, and development committees.
