Assistant Vice President

Reporting to the Vice President for Alumni Affairs & Development (AA&D), exercising a high level of independence, autonomy, and decision-making, and serving as a member of the AA&D senior leadership team (SLT), the Assistant Vice President supervises the leaders of units including Advancement Systems; Analytics & Data Services; Gift & Records Services; Marketing & Communications; and Organizational Learning & Development, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management, and leads enterprise-wide, date-driven strategic initiatives. The Assistant Vice President will bring substantial frontline fundraising experience and a sophisticated understanding of the strategic, operational, and relationship-management requirements of a modern advancement organization.

Deputy Director, Yale Alumni Fund

Yale University seeks an experienced and successful manager to join the university’s division of Alumni Affairs and Development. Yale’s annual fund programs, including Yale College, Yale Parents, and the Graduate School and Professional Schools, play a vital role in raising unrestricted funds that support the university’s fundamental priorities. These priorities encompass financial aid, the enhancement of student life, and the advancement of teaching and research. As a senior leader within the Alumni Fund team, the Deputy Director offers strategic leadership and guidance to a dedicated team charged with advancing fundraising and engagement efforts throughout Yale’s annual fund programs.

Development Officer, Parent Gifts

As a member of the Parent Gifts team, the Development Officer will raise meaningful philanthropic gifts from non-alumni parents in support of the university. With a portfolio of donors and prospects capable of leadership-level annual gifts and major gifts, the Development Officer will report to the Director of Parent Gifts and participate in a dynamic program to engage generous families.

Research Analyst, Prospect Development

The Research Analyst is a key member of the Prospect Development team in the Yale Office of Development, providing critical research support for the department’s fundraising initiatives and the university’s For Humanity capital campaign. Responsibilities of the Research Analyst include: research and write qualification reports to determine philanthropic profile of potential donors to support campaign priorities; compose high-level detailed reports and provide strategic analysis on potential donors to support fundraiser and administrator visits; and work on ongoing projects in prospect management and data analytics areas in prospect development.

Senior Administrative Assistant, Alumni Engagement and Development, YLS

Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement and Development, within the office of Alumni Engagement and Development (AED), the Sr. Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of complex and confidential, high-level administrative and clerical tasks in support of AED’s staff. The incumbent is expected to apply creativity and initiative and bring a collaborative approach to an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-focused, results-driven, and team-oriented.
